How much does stanby electricity cousumed?
Some electric device include computer, TV, air-conditioner uses electricity even I don't use them.
How much on earth is my all instrument phantom load?
Up to now, I've cared about unavailing energy. But I try to cut off more vainness.
First, I set necessary and unnecessary.
My necessary
/Refrigerator (I supposed this is my only necessity.)
Ordinal families may have more necessities, such as telephone, programmed recording devices,
heater for tropical fish, and artificial respirator. Such devices is better not to turn off.
My unnecessary
/Air-conditioner
/Boiler
/Washing machine
/Telephone(*)
/Network terminal devices(*)
/Microwave oven
Some instruments have clock. I think they are better not to turn off because it's troublesome setting clock renew.
Fortunately my above-mentioned devices have no clock. I don't hesitate to turn them off.
My telephone has only transmission and arrival function.
In addition living alone as I naturally cannot answer calling phone when I'm not in my house.
So, I think I can turn my telephone off.

I measured standby electricity.
I plugged refrigerator cord off and watch this watt hour meter on my house wall.
Upside digits are total consumption electricity since this is installed. I suppose it is reset for overflow(9999 to 0000)
When center wheel is spinning, electricity is used in my room.
1,200rev/kWh is written at the vapored area by flash. So measuring timing a spin, I make out the phantom load.
A spin took about 120 second. For 1 hour the wheel spins 30 times. From 1,200rev/kWh, 30rev equals
0.025kWh or 25Wh. 1 day 0.6kWh and 1month approx. 18kWh.
Electric charge is about 16.5yen per 1 kWh. Therefore, 16.5*18=297yen(approx. 2.5USD or 1.9EUR) disappears to no purpose!!
Let's pull their cords out of the wall!
