The second anniversary starting EXPO 2005 Aichi Japan
A week ago today, it was two full years since EXPO 2005 Aichi (and you may know as Nagoya) opened.
It's my great remembrance when I worked as an attendant. I met the then coworkers and shared our time.
Actually it's a large-scale international (and pretty local) festival. But I heard from one of my friend that some Australian tourists said they had no idea about the EXPO at all.
The EXPO may be known by limited people... I honestly also had had no idea about the EXPO (it's Hanover in Germany) which was held before Aichi until perticipate in it. To be frank, it's impossible to make whole world inform.
By the way, next Recognised Exhibition is Zaragoza 2008 in Spain, Registered Exhibition (or World Exhibition) is Shanghai 2010 in China. I think I cannot visit Zaragoza because of the distance but I'll visit Shanghai.
Now, the place be held Aichi EXPO is returning to original park.

EXPOs bring people of the world together on a single issue and at one place. Young people must go to such events where they can learn so much. Zaragosa H2O expo may not attract many visitors because it seems directed more towards commercialism than the water issues. EXPO 2010 Shanghai will surely leave its mark on the landscape of World EXPOs and on the minds of its visitors. Two years down the line Aichi 2005 still brings fond memories.

Thanks for leaving comments. I think without money, EXPO or such events will not be held. Actually Aichi EXPO was also sometimes called "Toyota EXPO", which is a car manufacturer. Its headquarters locats near by Nagoya. I'd like to visit to Zaragoza but I can't afford now.
